The McKenzie Method
The McKenzie Method, is an approach of mechanical assessment and treatment of the spine developed by Robin McKenzie in New Zealand in the 1960's. The McKenzie Method encourages mechanical movement patterns that cause symptoms to centralize, speeding up the healing process. Long-term goals of the method are to quickly reduce pain, return to normal function and minimize recurring pain.
